I am honored to serve as the team leader of NUP Diaspora USA. My primary role is to provide leadership and guidance to our members and supporters living in the USA. I work closely with other NUP leaders in Uganda and other parts of the world to ensure that we are aligned in our vision and mission for Uganda.

As a human rights advocate, community organizer, healthcare provider and leader in the Ugandan Diaspora community, I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of the Museveni regime on the people of Uganda. For 37 years, Ugandans have suffered under a regime that has consistently violated their human rights and denied them basic liberties.

As a diaspora, we are committed to the liberation of Uganda. We want a country where human rights and individual liberties are respected, where the rule of law is upheld, and where political opponents are not abducted, tortured, and detained without trial.

We want a country where civilians are not tried in military courts, where Ugandans have freedom of speech, freedom to organize and protest, and where the constitution and laws of the land are not manipulated and weaponized to consolidate power.

We want a country where there is no discrimination, pervasive corruption, and waste of taxpayers' money by the ruling class. We want a country where healthcare is affordable, and where youth do not have to mortgage their belongings and seek job opportunities outside Uganda often working under inhumane conditions.

The NUP Diaspora USA is committed to promoting democracy, social justice, human rights and good governance in Uganda. We believe that every Ugandan deserves equal opportunities to succeed, and we are working tirelessly to achieve this goal.

Through this website, we aim to provide a platform for Ugandans living in the USA to engage with us and each other, share ideas and experiences, and work together towards a better future for Uganda. We invite you to join us in this noble cause.
